it's quiet enough that i thought my surface book might be a fanless one, but it isn't. they are also fairly quiet i don't hear much of anything when drawing/painting in CSP or PS. if you've used iPads before, the average heat they generate is comparable: barely noticeable. all PC-tablets including Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Go, Surface Book.
The pen is great, it's powerful, it's quick.

Tl dr: when i'm mobile, i greatly prefer the surface devicesįirst off, they do have a jitter that can fuck with your lines if you slowly draw diagonal lines with low stabilization. I own 2 surface devices (SP4 and SBook 3), an iPad 12, and a Wacom MSP 16, and a desktop workstation of course with a Wacom tablet
