it's quiet enough that i thought my surface book might be a fanless one, but it isn't. they are also fairly quiet i don't hear much of anything when drawing/painting in CSP or PS. if you've used iPads before, the average heat they generate is comparable: barely noticeable. all PC-tablets including Microsoft Surface Pro, Surface Go, Surface Book.

I used the surface pro for multiple years.
